Trial of the Saint-Merry Twenty-Two

The full trial transcript for the twenty-two insurgents identified as having fought at the Cloister of Saint-Merry (Procès des vingt-deux accusés du Cloître Saint-Méry) is one of the most valuable and detailed primary sources on the 5th and 6th of June 1832. The transcript, along with many of the opposition newspaper articles that were published in reaction to the trial, was distributed in booklet form by the republican press and reproduced in volume 11 of Les Révolutions du XIXe siècle.
